We collect only what we need to send you your books and run your account. We never sell your details.
What we collect
- For every order: your name, mobile number, email address (we send your invoice to it), delivery address (if you choose delivery), the books you ordered and the payment reference from Razorpay.
- If you sign in: your name, email address and profile photo from Google or the email you sign up with; the addresses you choose to save; your wishlist; your date of birth if you add it.
- For Spin & Win: when you spun, what you won and the mobile number on your account, so each person gets one spin every 30 days.
- Stock alerts: the mobile number you leave when you ask to be told a book is back.
We do not see or store your card details, UPI PIN or bank login. Those are handled by Razorpay. Your password is handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see it.
How we use it
To pack and send your order, email you its invoice, contact you about it, show your orders and coupons in your account, run offers fairly, and keep the shop’s sales records. We share details only with the courier or post office delivering your books and with Razorpay for payment.
Where it is stored
Orders and accounts are stored securely in Google Firebase (servers in India where available). Only the shop’s administrators can see order details. Your browser can’t read the database directly; everything goes through the shop’s server, which checks who is asking.
Cookies and storage
This website saves your cart, wishlist and checkout details in your own browser so you don’t have to type them again, and remembers that you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can edit your profile and remove saved addresses under My account. To see, correct or delete everything we hold about you, including your account, email support@ppsmbooks.in or use the details on our Contact page. We keep order records as long as the law requires for accounts and tax.
