Ordering
Do I need an account to order?
No. You can check out as a guest with just your mobile number. Signing in (with Google, or an email and password) saves your addresses, keeps all your orders in one place, syncs your wishlist and lets you play Spin & Win.
How do I pay?
All orders are paid online through Razorpay: UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm and others), debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets. We don’t offer cash on delivery at the moment.
Will I get a bill?
Yes. As soon as your payment goes through we email a PDF invoice to the email address you give at checkout, from kamalammabookshop@gmail.com. If you can’t find it, check your spam folder, or write to support@ppsmbooks.in and we’ll send it again.
Is paying on this website safe?
Yes. Payment happens on Razorpay’s secure page. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank password.
A book I want is out of stock. What can I do?
Open the book and tap “Tell me when it’s back”. Leave your mobile number and we’ll let you know when it returns to the shelf.
Do you take bulk orders for temples, schools or events?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp with the titles and quantities and we’ll send a quote, including delivery.
Delivery
How much is delivery?
A flat ₹70 per order, anywhere in India. Pickup at the shop is always free. Free delivery is one of the Spin & Win prizes (on books worth ₹1,000 or more).
How long will my books take?
Usually 3 to 7 business days after we dispatch, and 5 to 10 business days for remote areas. See the shipping policy for details.
How do I track my order?
Use “Track an order” at the bottom of any page with your order number and mobile number. If you were signed in when you ordered, your orders and tracking numbers are also under My account → Orders.
Coupons and Spin & Win
Do you have discount codes?
Our discounts come through Spin & Win: sign in, spin once a month, and the code you win is saved to your account. Now and then the shop may also share a code for a festival or event. One code per order.
How does Spin & Win work?
Sign in, add your mobile number and spin the wheel once every 30 days. Prizes are ₹50 off (on ₹1,000+), ₹75 off (on ₹1,500+), 10% off (on ₹2,500+, up to ₹500), free delivery (on ₹1,000+), or 5% off. Your code is saved under My account → Coupons.
Why didn’t my Spin & Win code work?
Spin codes work only when you are signed in to the account that won them, can be used once, and are valid for 30 days. Some prizes also need a minimum order value. The checkout tells you exactly what is missing.
Problems and returns
My book arrived damaged or wrong. What now?
Tell us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos. We’ll send a replacement or refund you. See the refund and replacement policy.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, until it is dispatched. Call or WhatsApp us with your order number and we’ll refund the full amount. See the cancellation policy.
When will I get my refund?
Within 5 to 7 business days of us approving it, back to the same UPI, card or bank account you paid from.
